ALLISON WESTFIELD JAMES - BIO

 

Allison (Ally) Westfield James is a versatile, service oriented professional with a long and consistent record of outstanding accomplishments such as increasing performance efficiencies, cost reduction initiatives, client servicing management and creating best in class processes. Her extensive experience in liaison competencies, client and vendor relationship management, along with coaching, training and developing staff placed Ally in a unique position to add immediate and significant value in her role as Vice President of Operations at RJames Associates, Inc. Benefits and Insurance Brokers.

 

Prior to joining RJames Associates and Benefit Brokers, Ally spent 5 years at INROADS as a client manager. She also spent 14 years at JPMorgan Chase in a variety of strategic and leadership positions. She last served as the Customer and Client Service Team Leader on the Bank One /Heritage Chase Consumer Card Transition Team. In this role she led a 15 member team representing 4 lines of businesses that phased out redundant card products, and brought in-house card products and programs serviced by 3rd party servicing vendors. In her secondary role as the internal Voice of the Employee and Customer Leader she and her team created the training and preparedness documents for both the Bank One and JPMorgan Servicing Centers and Clients.

 

Prior to this role, Ally was the Operations Readiness Manager supporting seven national and international Call Centers for JPMorgan Chase’s Fee Service Vendors, Card Issuance and Commercial Card products and programs including the largest fee service program with over 2.5 million customers. Ally was instrumental in designing JPMorgan Chase’s first specialized Internal and External Commercial Card Service Team. This 75 + staff of team leaders, supervisors, managers and servicing agents were responsible for servicing a 50+ million dollar portfolio. For these and other business innovations, Ally received numerous JPMorgan firm wide recognition including its 2004 “All Star” and “Idea for Innovation” Awards.

 

Outside of her professional life, Ally is active in several professional, civic and cultural organizations including: Feed the Children, St. Jude and United Way, NAACP and Black Women Enterprise. She serves on several community boards mandated to serve disenfranchised youth and adults in the Jamaica, Queens and Long Island Communities.

 

She previously served on the Roosevelt School district Parent Advisory Committee and was a parent liaison for special needs families. She has advocated in various forums on behalf on special needs students to local and state officials and representatives. Ally holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from York College, Jamaica Queens and is Green Belt Six Sigma Trained. She and her family currently reside in Roosevelt Long Island.
